Tending the Now is a movement practice — an invitational space rooted in presence and deep inner listening. It emerges from nearly 3 decades of my personal exploration through a wide range of movement modalities, including Soul Motion, 5Rhythms, Core Connexion, Contact Improvisation, Underscore, Underbelly, and Open Floor.
I bow deeply to all my teachers and the lineages they carry. This practice is offered in humility and gratitude — a convergence of the somatic wisdom I’ve been blessed to receive, and the bodysoul wisdom I’ve worked diligently to cultivate.
A sacred return to here and now — to self, earth, and each other.
In this gentle, co-created movement practice, we come home to the present moment in the body. Through deep inner listening, we attune to our heart’s quiet calls and our body’s innate wisdom. By slowing down and releasing familiar patterns or scripts, we create space for movement — or stillness — to arise from within. This practice invites a co-creative connection with the body, soul, and the living moment itself.
Rooted in connection — to the ground beneath us, the trees around us, and the people beside us — this practice invites us into a shared field of presence. As we move together in awareness, we reweave ourselves into a cohesive field where healing, inspiration, and transformation can unfold.
